Though these bodies may, indeed, continue in their orbits by the mere laws of gravity, yet they could by no means have at first derived the regular position of the orbits themselves from those laws. Thus “This most beautiful system of the sun, planets and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being.

Intro by Will Wainwright

More and more Scientists in multiple disciplines are bumping into, what I like to call the “proverbial brick wall” of Intelligent Design. We speak of  physics, cosmology, biology and the chemical origin of life. Still there are some die hard, God obsessed atheists like Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Bill Nye (The Science Guy) and Neil deGrass Tyson, (director of NYC’s Hayden Planetarium) and a whole array of others that make a living not only in their specialty, but in the personal challenge of disproving Intelligent Design and or the existence of God.

Till this point even the scientists who have arrived at Intelligent Design, in order to “keep it scientific” refer to the theory as just that, without mentioning God. However many in lectures do reveal their faith in a Deity as in the bibles.

Stephen C. Meyer PhD

One such person who has in recent times taken a lead position as advocate in the proof that our universe was created by an intelligence - God, is Stephen C. Meyer. Aside from being an American author and former educator, he holds a Ph.D. in the History & Philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge with lesser degrees in Physics and Earth Science.

Stephen has recently come out with his third major book called, “The Return of the God Hypothesis”. In the book he tackles the areas in science where one arrives inescapably at Intelligent Design - in  physics, cosmology, biology or more specifically, the chemical origin of life and the Cambrian Explosion, Digital Coding in DNA and the Fine Tuning of Space & Time.

I should point out that the atheists aren't taking Intelligent Design laying down. After all that's why they are called Theoretical physicists. So they have dreamed up a couple theories on how Intelligent Design could come about. One of those you may have heard of, The Multiverse. Yes, we live in one of many universes - an infinite amount to be exact. Then by chance all our DNA coding and fine tuning of our galaxy and planets could have happened randomly. -- Give me a break.

We will conclude with a quote by astronomer and planetary physicist Robert Jastrow, "For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountain of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."

PS. All the theories in that regard, trying to disprove Intelligent Design such as, The Multiverse, The Weak Anthropic Principle, Quantum Cosmology etc have been disproven by Stephen Meyer. Still they just keep trying to prove God had nothing to do with it.
